The convo while my boys folded the clothes:
Ethan: "Isaac, stop looking me in the face before I hit you with this sock and my fist!"
Isaac "You're not my boss, Ethan! And your fist feels like feathers anyway, so go ahead."
Ethan: Isaac !! You are very annoying! I'm about to kick–
I screaming from above: Shut up both of you! If I have
To come there, I am banning video games for the rest of the day! Try me if you want too! (I totally understand why my mother used to say that last line. It's a lot of fun to say it and it makes you look completely psycho)
Sweet Jesus, be a rocket and take me to the moon. There has to be some peace and quiet because my children have officially reached the stage of sibling rivalry. And here I thought I had avoided it. Retribution of my childhood, I guess. Sorry ma.
I guess the positive side is that they can only get mad at each other for a few seconds, literally! I've never seen any children go from trying to kill each other to "Hey! Do you want to join me in Roblox! In one sentence. They didn't give it to me because I was the queen of the quiet deal between brothers when I was younger. My older sister I used to hate him because I had overcome him and wanted to play hahaha!
However, this week, my children have been doing a good job playing together in peace. Maybe the tide is changing and my prayers are working. * crossing my fingers * I thought it would be a special little gift. Nutella Brownies !!
OK, let me cut the crap, I'm making these brownies for me! I don't plan on sharing
none Nan of them either! No, I deserve every chewable, chocolate, sweet and messy bite after all these disputes that I have had to arbitrate.
So let's talk about these Nutella brownies, okay?
They are amazing and are only for true chocolate lovers! Because man-or-man are chocolate. They start with an old-fashioned and chewy brownie base with swirls in Nutella. It is completed with a thick and fluffy chocolate Nutella ganache layer and is completed with nothing more than chopped hazelnuts and shaved chocolate!
Yes, it is a brownie that you want to make for someone who deserves it and that you love a lot, like yourself!
Every time I make these brownies, my mind starts to think of all the ways I could easily change this, like making a thin min ganache and adding crushed fine mint or Andes chocolate mints on top. Or adding caramel and nut cover swirls to make a turtle version.
Ahhhh … so many options, so little time. Gosh, I love food!
If you change this Nutella Brownie recipe, let me know! I love hearing how they modified them and made them twerk. So creative!
Enjoy! Oh, and happy Valentine's day if you like those things!
